All That Glitters

A friend of mine has recently published a book entitled, “All That Glitters.” It is a period piece that you may find an enjoyable read on a cold winter night, or for that matter, at any time.

This Georgian era romance set in 18th Century England is seen through three generations of women who touch the nobility of England. Jenny is destroyed by her affair with a high nobleman with royal antecedents. Dying in childbirth, her daughter, Nancy, lives a life of hardship as an unacknowledged bastard. Before she dies, she tells her daughter, Annalee Curtis of her noble/royal heritage. Now, it’s the beautiful Annalee Curtis’s time with a handsome young nobleman, but proving her worth, using all of her charms, even witchcraft, she seduces her lover into a secret marriage. However, it is a union of two different clashing worlds. Can she succeed and regain her noble and royal title? This is a real bodice-ripper, rags- to-riches tale of a pure heart and impure morals and a good description of class-divided 18th Century England.

The author, F. Tropea, has a Lit. Major as well as a Psychology and History minor, and a Harvard graduate. Employed in the allied legal world, he sees a lot of crime, evil, and heartbreak, giving an insight to the darker side of human nature. He has also a poet with published titles as well as other past, and soon-to-be-published books.

Circle For Archangel Michael at Magika Sunday, Oct 1

My friends, I would like to invite each and every one of you to come to 107 Federal Street in Salem, Massachusetts on Sunday, October 1st at 3:00 PM in the hour of the sun to attend a circle in honor of The Archangel Michael and all the angelic powers who watch over us. We will be asking Archangel Michael and all of the angels to help humankind in promoting peace, love and harmony throughout the world. Unless human beings become aware of the harm that they are doing to mother Earth through their continued negativity and hatred, we will continue to see the type of worldwide weather disasters, earthquakes and other calamities that we have been seeing of late. This is not the wrath of god. This is the result of human negativity and hatred being transmitted into nature and nature is rebelling. We reap what we sow.

As Giordano Bruno said, everything in the universe is connected. Even things that seem to be inanimate have a spiritual aspect to them or in other words, a soul. Humanity is hurting the soul of the Earth through hatred and negativity! We must pray to the Angelic forces to help humanity to change its ways and adopt light and love in place of hatred! We will ask for this in our circle.

We will also use this wonderful occasion to dedicate and consecrate the Chapel of the Archangel Michael at Magika. There is no cost to attend and participate in the circle. The only currency that I ask you to bring is the currency of love and prayer! If you can’t join us in person, please join us from where ever you are by calling on Archangel Michael and the angelic forces at 3pm and join us spiritually. I hope to see you all there! Many blessing of love and light to you all !

Parking Note — Please park in nearby public parking. There is no on-street parking at our new location. You can park for a reasonable rate at the City of Salem Lot on Bridge Street, or other public lots downtown Salem. It is a pleasant walk to our new location in the historic McIntire District, and it will be a fair day.

Hurricane Closure

Hello my friends. Due to the close approach of Hurricane Jose, we want our staff and friends to be safe, so we are electing to be closed on Wednesday, Sept 20 – all day. We will be back on Thursday, opening at 11 am as usual.

Hate Speech?

To all of my friends… and maybe a few who are not… It has recently come to my attention that of late some of the shops in Salem have been experiencing negative reviews in social media advertising sites, and social media in general. For what it’s worth, they are not the only victims — have also experienced these things on Yelp, TripAdvisor, and others. The bashing has been wide-spread and it is clear that this is being conducted by those seeking to cause harm to local business either directly or via their minions under their control. We reflect, “An Harm Ye None…” Doing this breaks the Wise Law of the 4Fs, Flax, Flags, Fodder, Frey (Frig). Flax… never take the clothing off the backs of anyone; Flags or homes… never compromise the roof over anyone’s head; Fodder or food… never take food of their tables; Frey or Frig signifying love… never compromise the love of their family members and friends. I’d add to that one more “F” for freedom. We should all be free of such.

These are the Laws of the Ancient Craft. Breaking these suggests that you are not one of us. The God and Goddess known who you are — and maybe do others. Friend or Foe, I have never done this to any local business. There is enough for all to go around, and I offer the best wishes for all local business no matter who you are. Those conducting this do so out of greed, avarice, and jealousy.

Watching how the minions triangulate this to deflect suspicion is clever as well as interesting to observe, yet it is not rocket science to see what is going on. Many are being victimized — In the end, Three-Fold will engage naturally. The Goddess gives and takes away. Build community rather than attempt to destroy it.

I am, and remain, available. If you have a difference with me please call and speak to me. Hiding behind the keyboard with your whispers degrades you, and all of the Craft. My blessings to all of the shops in Salem that you may prosper.
