In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, and with another storm on the horizon this week, Magika will be accepting donations for those suffering in New York.
If you are a magical practitioner, Lori asks that you direct your spells for the protection of the cities on the eastern seaboard.
Here’s a message from Lori this morning:
“To all ministers of Our Lord & Lady of the Trinacrian Rose Church and all members of the magical community, I ask you to please go out and make a collection of what you can for the people in New York who are suffering because of Hurricane Sandy.
You don’t have to bring a million dollars worth. Please do whatever you can afford. Bring your donations to Magika. We’ll fill our back room up. These people are in dire need.
If you truly practice magic, you’ll know the magic of giving, and that is truly how we’re living. Being a native New Yorker transplanted to the great state of Massachusetts, I ask all of you to please help our sisters and brothers in New York.
Here in Salem, we were spared by the forces of light, and all the magical might that we have. We were so fortunate. But our brothers and sisters in New York were not. We are all of the same spirit, no matter what religious persuasion. We are humanity seeking the help of humanity to bring back some form of normalcy to those who are suffering.
One act of kindness brings another. Vacations are wonderful, that’s money spent on joy. But the greatest vacation is tragedy averted. Helping people, that is a vacation. To vacate suffering, that is a vacation to me. I hope you will understand my words and take them to heart.
Please open up your hearts, your purses, and help these people by bringing any non perishable food, paper towels, anything that can be used, and we will get them to the people that are in need.
I especially call on all the ministers of Our Lord & Lady of the Trinacrian Rose Church to come forward in this time of need. When you received your church papers, I told you this: There will be times that I will ask you to help those in need. This is the time and the hour, let us see your power—both magical and heartfelt power. Let us see who you are, now that you are called upon.
When you became ministers, I never asked you for a penny. I never asked you to support me—or the church—financially in any way. Now is the time that I ask you to help people, on behalf of humanity. That is your payment for your ministry. I would like to see who you are.
The cross of our people, which is equilateral, is that of equality, mercy, and giving. For in giving, we are living. And in living, we are giving. Put yourselves forward, priests and priestesses of our faith, let’s see who you truly are. Bring your donations to Magika. You are known by what you have done, as rising moon and setting sun.
I bless you all. I know who my ministers are. I know who the ministers of the gods are. We are asked to help, and this is the hour that we have been called upon.
The greatest gift is the gift of the spirit.
Whenever you are in need, I will always be there for you. This is the time that you are asked to help those who cannot ask for themselves. I ask in their stead. And whatever you give, may it be returned to you a million-fold.
May the God and Goddess bless you all. I love you.”

A Huge Thank You!
We thank you in advance for your kind consideration and for all that you do every day to help humanity!

Currently back in central NH Lori taking care of my mother again and unfortunately can’t get back to Magika until I get back down to Salem in the near future. I am forwarding your appeal to website owners and others I personally know and will post it on my own website for any visitors linking back to your Magika website to read and take action upon. I pray the tides of well meant magical creation move forces in the direction of immediate relief for all of those afflicted and still in need! – WD Allan
Bless you for all you do for people who cannot do for themselves, not only for hurrican sandy, but the soo many people you have helped in the past. May the Gods Bless and keep you always. See you Friday.
